The enrollee special issue of the Saratov University newspaper is dedicated to the 2023 Admissions. The issue consists of articles about the modern life of SSU, answers to current questions of enrollees, information about the courses of bachelor's degree and specialty training, as well as the courses of SSU colleges.
The newspaper starts with the letter of Rector of Saratov State University Aleksei Chumachenko to high school graduates. He reminded that the doors of SSU are open to everyone who wants to get a proper education.
The SSU: University of Opportunities article introduces readers to nine trends that describe the modern SSU, including a wide range of courses, the digitalisation of education, the opportunities for research and career from students, partnership with employers and other universities, extracurricular activities, and a strong community of teaching staff and students.
On pages 10-11 of the newspaper, read about the answers to the most popular questions of enrolees: how the enrollment takes place, what is an additional enrollee test, how the competition lists are updated, etc. The list of enrolee tests, the minimum number of points, types of courses, and the number of state-funded places can be found on pages 14-27. The Preparing for Admission Together article is dedicated to the university centres which help high school students get to know their chosen profession better. The Institute of Pre-University Education, the School of Journalism, the School of Young Psychologists, the School of Young Translators, the Programmers Olympiad Training Centre, the Geographical School, the School of Young Chemists, the Pedagogical Classroom, the Support Centre for Talented Children – all these projects help enrolees become part of the university studying at school.
The Pulse of University Life is devoted to the topic how the largest university in the region lives by the example of bright events for the 2022/2023academic year. At Saratov State University, students can find develop their skills in dozens of student associations and clubs. In the Student Universe article, the editorial board of the Sweet Milk student magazine wrote about university-wide projects for active young people.
