Following the joint order of the Ministry of Education of Saratov Region and SSU dated 30.01.2023, the olympiad for students of pedagogical courses will be held in the region for the first time. The venue for the pedagogical olympiad will be Saratov State University, which has been the flagship of pedagogical education in the region for a long time, a university that combines both innovative approaches in pedagogy and historical traditions of classical education.

December 2022 was marked by a complex and extremely important organisational preparation for such an event. The university actively registered children for the upcoming olympiad: the children showed interest in teacher training at the university, asked questions to staff and leading professors of SSU. Such a lively interest of schoolchildren indicates an extremely serious attitude to the future event.

The olympiad will be held off-site on April 22, 2023, and will bring together more than two hundred children from all over the region studying in the SSU Pedagogical Classroom of their schools.
