Presidential Grant for gifted students’ application process opens August, 10.

Federal Ministry of Education and Science implements a program “Presidential Grants for people showing a disposition towards technical and liberal arts innovations enrolled into studies at higher education institutions”. The project provides financial aid for gifted students. There are 1000 grants with 20000 rubles monthly stipend available in 2015.

Grants are available for applicants who have entered specialist or bachelor degree programs in 2015. applicants should be: winners of All-Russia school students Olympiads; winners of school students Olympiads carried out according to Ministry of Education and Science standards; winners of international and All-Russia competitions included in the lists approved by the Ministry of Education and Science.

To participate, first year students should fill in an application at http://грантыпрезидента.рф/ and attach copies of award certificates and enrollment certificate from their university. Application deadline is August, 31.

Winners are selected by expert council that includes education specialists and Russian Olympiad movement activists.

Grant receivers should annually provide information about their studies and successful scientific and innovative work. Upon finishing their studies they should spend at least three years working in Russia.
