Today on June 19, Saratov State University starts admissions campaign 2015. Below is information on how to apply, required documents and deadlines.
For those applying to full-time studies on bachelor and specialist programs that require creative and/or professional competitions (Institute of Philology and Journalism, Institute оf Arts, Institute of Sport and Physical Training, Faculty of Pedagogical and Special Needs Education) the application deadline is July, 7. July, 10 is the deadline for applicants who will take university examinations. July, 25 is the deadline for applicants who have taken Unified State Exam.
Application deadlines for bachelor and specialist programs (part-time) are: August, 6 - for programs that require creative or professional competitions; August, 8 – for applicants who will take university examinations; August, 16 – for applicants who have taken Unified State Exam.
Applicants for bachelor and specialist programs entering commercial study could apply June, 19 – September, 19 regardless of educational form.
Deadlines for Crimea citizens are different. Applicants for bachelor and specialist programs (full-time) that require creative and/or professional competitions could apply before July, 7. July, 8 is the deadline for applicants who will take university examinations. July, 14 is the deadline for applicants who have taken Unified State Exam.
For Crimea citizens, application deadlines for bachelor and specialist programs (part-time) are: August, 6 - for programs that require creative or professional competitions; August, 8 – for applicants who will take university examinations; August, 9 – for applicants who have taken Unified State Exam. Applications for commercial study are open till September, 19.
Applications for master programs are open till August, 10. Applications for commercial study are open till September, 19.
In 2015-2016, over 3000 applicants will enter the university on state-funded programs. 2621 people will be in full-time studies; among them are 98 specialist students, 1897 bachelor students, and 626 master students. 733 people will be in part-time studies: 40 specialist students, 543 bachelor students, and 150 master students.
SSU has introduced seven new Master programs: at Faculties of Biology, Geography, Geology, Philosophy, Psychology, and Computer Science and Information Technologies.
SSU will train specialist in four areas: “Applied Geology” (Faculty of Geology), “Computer Security” (Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technologies), “Forensics” and “Customs” (Faculty of Law).
The required documents are: application, certificate of (full) secondary education (original or copy), three copies of Passport/ID, State Exam results.
Upon enrollment, applicants should submit original certificate of (full) secondary education, 6 photos 3х4 см, medical certificate 086-y, registration certificate, copy of health insurance.
Documents should be submitted to faculty or institute admissions committee. Central Admissions Committee is at room 100B, Bldg. IX. Admissions committees work from 10:00 to 14:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays. For information call 51-92-26, 26-03-04.
